MEET THE OWNERS
Every Dream Begins With A Story
Jim Wicks and Amber Reed opened Bumper Crop Coffee with the intention of creating a space where people could re-connect. On the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic, where we were often confined to our homes and business meetings were one-dimensional via Zoom, it was important for us to create an atmosphere where individuals could embrace one-another again; in-person! A quality cup-of-joe, in a beautiful atmosphere with good friends!
Jim Wicks was born and raised in Lewiston, Idaho; attending Lewiston High School where he was quarterback and active in the community. Many of Jim’s family members are still local, including Jim’s Dad, Jim Sr., who taught at LHS for 32 years. If you grew up in Lewiston, you probably had Mr. Wicks as your Biology or Forestry teacher! Jim lived in a number of Pacific Northwest area codes with his family; most-notably running a successful rafting business on the Dechutes River. Jim recently relocated back to Lewiston and is excited to share his love of coffee, re-invigorate Main Street and get back to his roots!
Amber Reed has a diverse background in business & marketing and graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She wears many hats as a mom to her spunky 6-year old daughter, Riley, is Co-Owner at Modo Yoga Portland with her sister and enjoys being in nature or geeking out on home-improvement and cooking shows in her spare time. Amber looks forward to contributing her passion for food, love of people and attention to detail to Bumper Crop Coffee!
A special thank you to Dan & Cindi Mader for believing in us, the amazing support from Rivertown Coffee (Shayna, Mark, Holley & Kevin) and the love and encouragement from all our friends and family in Lewiston and beyond! With so many great coffee options in town, we don’t take it lightly that you stopped by!
Thank you for visiting Bumper Crop Coffee; see you again soon!
